Michael Serrato resides in Southern California; he graduated from CSUN with a B.A. in Political Science and Philosophy in 2008. Throughout the years, he has been traveling the world, studying abroad and enjoying his work with several non-profit organizations advocating their visions for social justice. During his spare time, he hosts workshops and presentations on Deaf Theories and ASL storytelling at schools. He is currently working on establishing a non-profit organization known as “Hands on Signs,” to assist deaf youth and parents to set life goals and help them attain them through ASL in Los Angeles areas. He is eager to enter into this new endeavor and he would love to welcome anyone interested in volunteering.
